The status bar is shown at the bottom of the Calendarscope Main Window.
It shows the following information in two panes.

• Menu Help - The first pane starts at the left of the status bar. As menu items or toolbar buttons are selected, this pane shows messages that describe the menu item or button.
• Number of items - The second pane shows the number of items in the selected view.
