Start date — This field defines the start date of the task. You may type the date directly in the date field, or use the pop-up calendar to select a date. Click on the small button at the right of the field to bring up the calendar.
Due date — This field defines the due date of the task.
Priority — specifies the priority of the task.
Recurrence... — This button allows you to setup a recurrence for the task.
Modify the series... — This button allows you to modify settings of the series of the recurring task, instead of a single occurrence of the task.
Skip Occurrence — This button allows you to skip one occurrence of a recurring task.
Notify — Select this option to have the task remind you before its start time.
Preview... — This button allows you to preview the reminder window and resize it.
Status — specifies the status of the task.
Date completed — This field defines the date completed of the task.
Notes — This area allows freeform text to be associated with the task. Notes will be displayed with the reminder too.
Categories — This button allows you to select categories for the task. You can also enter categories manually.
— This button allows you to print the task.
— This button allows you to save the task in iCalendar format.
— This button allows you to delete the task.
— This button allows you to open the Zoom dialog box and zoom in or out the dialog box controls.
— Select this option to hide the task from the views. Use "View | Hidden Items" menu of the Calendarscope main window to activate / deactivate this feature.
— Select this option to prevent occasional deletion of the task.
Note
You can resize the New/Modify task dialog box and save the new size as the default size for tasks. Right-click the window caption and click the "Save As Default Window Size for Tasks" menu item.
If you set the recurring task to end after a specific number of occurrences, skipping the task counts as one occurrence.
